Our Founder, Mary Fanaro
Mary launched OmniPeace in 2007—the first humanitarian fashion brand with a mission to build schools and empower empoverished youth in Africa. OmniPeace Foundation evolved into a multi-million-dollar fashion brand, partnering with Dr. Jeffrey Sachs' Millennium Villages Project. Inside these villages, Mary built 9 music schools in Senegal, Mali, and Malawi. In 2016, she transitioned to music schools in Rwanda, The Rwanda Rocks Music Schools.
Now, with GLOBAL MUSIC BOX, Mary is bringing the transformative power of music into schools, hospitals, juvenille detention centers, foster care communities, youth organizations, and more across the globe.
Jimmy Thomas
Jimmy is a seasoned Creative Executive with over 30 years in entertainment, specializing in digital media, emerging technologies, and content development.
A Berklee College of Music graduate, he was mentored by Clarence Avant, “The Black Godfather,” and worked with him for three decades. Jimmy has held leadership roles at Def Jam, Ruthless Records, and Motown, earning multiple platinum and gold records.
As Head of Business Development and Executive Producer at Lion Forge Animation, he contributed to the Oscar-winning short Hair Love. Known for blending innovation with creativity, Jimmy continues to shape the future of entertainment.
